Through a Lens, Darkly: Politics & Power (VanityFair.com)
Hazel Massery is my father’s wife’s mother, so I was particularly interested in this story. After finishing it, however, I can’t decide just how I feel. It seems at times unfair and bitter, though quite an informative read. I had no idea about Hazel’s early life, and I can’t help wondering how much is second-hand information, and how much was taken directly from interviews with Hazel.
