Images of Africa

Found a really beautiful archive of images by Jason Strachan, a resident of Cape Town, South Africa.
This one is particularly striking, and has a neat story behind it:
I find photographing my own backyard really difficult - everything looks old and crusty. So I am quite happy to find a new angle on an old subject.
Some info about the leopard - The famous bronze leopard statue standing on the rocky outcrop at the foot of Chapman’s Peak Drive commemorates these animals that freely roamed the Hout Bay Mountains as recently as the 1930s. A gift to the people of Hout Bay from sculptor Ivan Midford-Barberton, the statue has been guarding the bay and facing the elements since March 1963.
Here’s another great one.
