Why Do Computer Games Claim Lives?
Did you know that people die on, like, a regular basis in Korea after marathon video game-playing sessions?
Asia has the largest population of MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games — video games that are played online so you can play with and against other people), and there are routinely stories of guys who spend days (YES, DAYS!) at internet cafes playing these games. Every so often, they just keel over because they’ve been playing for like two weeks straight without sleeping more than a few minutes at a time. It’s pretty frickin’ crazy.
