Although I am an atheist, religion fascinates me. For those of you who have never heard of Lakewood before, it’s one of (if not the) nation’s largest congegration of religious people. They recently leased the old home of the Houston Rockets (it’s a STADIUM!!) and renovated it for $75m (!!!!). The article above is from a neat blog called “theboxtank” that is all about the reuse of big buildings like the ones Wal-mart leaves behind when they move to bigger buildings. The writer went to one of the services to see what the new place was like.
